Boxer Club of WA Fun Day 8^th November 2009

Well, to start off with the word ‘WOW’  seems a bit over the top, but all we can say is ‘WOW’!!!!

What a fantastic turn out we had for our breed promotion day at Carine – the weather was just perfect at 23 C with a light breeze keeping us all cool, and which ever way you looked, there were Boxers and their owners having a good time!

They came in all shapes and sizes of course, the main aim being to socialize their dogs and to have some fun.  There was certainly plenty of fun around especially when the games began, including the old favourites – sausage on a string and the T shirt race – congratulations to the winners and we hope it was worth all that effort of running around!

The sausage sizzle proved to be as popular as ever, with many people coming back for second and third helpings – must have been the cooler weather or the running around that increased appetites.

Our 2010 calendar sold out before the day finished, proving that it is a much sought after Boxer item, great for Christmas presents and sending overseas. The fact that all the dogs featured are WA dogs certainly adds to its appeal. We will be printing more so don’t panic if you didn’t make it to the Fun Day.

The raffle winners were grinners when they took home TuckerTime biscuits, an ipod shuffle and a beautiful basket of Clarins products.

All in all, a super day.  There would have been lots of tired Boxers (or is that owners?) heading home afterwards, probably all thinking ‘WOW’!!
